Man arrested for murder of woman and her 3-year-old daughter in Nakaseke.

KAMPALA, Uganda Police in Nakaseke District have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of a woman and her granddaughter at Wakayamba Village in Kikamulo Sub-County. The deceased are Specioza Nakato, aged 53, and her three-year-old granddaughter, Sheilla, who were found murdered in a coffee plantation on Wednesday night.

According to the spokesperson, the Savannah Regional Police, Sam Twineamazima, identified the suspect as Ben Tushabe, 33. He is a resident of Wakayamba village in Kikamulo sub-county. Twineneamazima says that although Tushabe is in their custody, the force is still intensifying the search for more accomplices as they continue with investigations.
